Health Nut Smoothie

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you really don’t want to exercise your jaw to chew that nut.  Instead you choose to drink your protein in the Health Nut Smoothie.  This smooth, rich, creamy and wholesome smoothie makes a great breakfast or post-workout snack.  What else could a health nut like you ask for?

Ingredients:

1 C. unsweetened vanilla almond milk

½ banana

1 Tbsp. flax oil

1 Tbsp. almond butter

1 scoop whey protein

½ C. ice

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until frothy.

FOOD THAT LOVES YOU, TOO:  Almond milk is a rock star.  Soy and lactose-free, it’s an excellent source of protein, calcium and Vitamins A, D & E.  That means you’re building strong bones and lean muscle while restoring your body’s energy and blood sugar level.
